History
தந்தை ஹேன்ஸ் ரோவர் மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளி தூய யோவான் சங்கம் அறக்கட்டளையால் நடத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தந்தை ஹேன்ஸ் ரோவர் அவர்கள் ஜெர்மனி நாட்டில் பிறந்து, பொறியியல் துறையில் உயர்பட்டம் பெற்று பின்பு இறையியல் பயின்று இறைபணி ஆற்றிட இந்தியா வந்தார். சமுதாயத்தில் பொருளாதாரம் கல்வி போன்ற துறைகளில் மிகவும் பின்தங்கிய இடமான பெரம்பலூரில் தங்கி இறைபணியோடு ஆயிரக்கணக்கான ஏழைசிறுவர்களின் கல்விக்காக இல்லம் ஒன்று நடத்தி அவர்களுக்கு மறுவாழ்வு அளித்தார். அந்த அன்புத் தந்தையின் நினைவாக இந்தப்பள்ளி 1981-ஆம் ஆண்டில் டாக்டர் கி.வரதராஜன் அவர்களின் பெரும் முயற்சியால் தொடங்கப்பட்டு சிறப்புடன் இயங்கி வருகிறது.

Chairman's message
Chairman message For over 50 years, St.John Sangam Trust has been deeply involved in social development and empowerment through education and social welfare activities at Perambalur district in Tamil Nadu, South India. In memory of Rev. Fr. Hans Roever, and his vision, the trust is engaged in uplifting the economically backward district of Perambalur through affordable education for poor students and through social welfare activities for poor families under the auspices of Roever Educational and Social Welfare Institutions.
Roever is now synonymous with quality education and sustainable social empowerment. While our belief in universal education is slowly empowering rural communities throughout many generations. I would like to highlight the immediate needs of the economically and socially challenged rural poor, who have no community or government support.
Roever Social Welfare Institutions focus on the young and the old, physically and visually challenged, women and children, healthy and sick people in and around Perambalur. Its main goal is to provide for and empower those who are not able to take care of themselves. Our staff provide a whole range of services such as home for orphans, physically and visually challenged, shortstay home for women and girls, old age home and disability rehabilitation centre.
Roever is also deeply committed to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG) in areas such as poverty and hunger eradication, providing universal primary education, promoting gender equality and empowering women, reducing child mortality, improving maternal health, efforts to reduce HIV / AIDS, ensuring environmental sustainability.
Roever Institutions and its dedicated staff continue to expand and provide better services to the marginalized people in the society in order to empower them. .

LOVE – அன்பு நதி தன் நீரை தானே குடிப்பதில்லை, மரம் தன் கனிகளைத் தானே உண்பதில்லை, மலர் தன் தேனை தானே உண்பதில்லை, விளக்கு தன் வெளிச்சத்தை தனக்காக வைத்துக் கொள்வதில்லை, இவைகளைப்போல் அன்பு அற்புதங்களை நிகழ்த்துவதற்குரிய சக்தியை ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தருகிறது. சுய நலம் நீங்கி, பிறர் நலன் காண்பதே உண்மையான அன்பு. KNOWLEDGE – அறிவு நான் சிகரத்தை நோக்கிப் பணித்தேன். ஆனாலும் சகல பகுதிகளிலும் நடைபோட்டுக் கொண்டு பயணத்தை தொடர்ந்தேன். நீண்ட தொலைவு செல்லவேண்டியிருந்தது. நான் அவசரப்படவில்லை. சிறுசிறு அடிகளாக சிகரத்தை நோக்கிப் பயணித்தேன் அனைத்துக்கும் எனக்கு துணை நின்றது ‘ அறிவு ‘ தான் . SERVICE – சேவை பிரதிபலனை எதிர்பார்க்காமல் உதவி செய்வது இயலாதவர்களுக்கு உதவுவதில் இறை காண்பது, கேட்டுக் கொடுக்காமல் கேளாமல் கொடுத்து உதவுவது . குறைகூறும்போது பாராட்டுவது மற்றவர்கள் உருகுலைக்கும் போது உருவாக்குவது, சமூக மேம்பாட்டிற்காக அர்பணித்துக்கொள்வது இவையே, சிறந்த சேவையாகும்.
மேற்கண்ட அன்பு, அறிவு, சேவை, ஆகியவற்றினை எங்கள் பள்ளியில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு நாள்தோறும் போதித்து, அவர்கள் வாழ்வில் வளம் சேர்க்கும் புனிதப்பணியை தொடர்ந்து செய்துவருகிறோம் என்பதை மகிழ்வுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.
